I think its worth pointing another one of Milton Friedman's lies - something he calls the "natural rate of inflation".

Actually, Friedman advocated deflation (the Friedman Rule) as a means of eliminating the opportunity cost of holding fiat money (The optimal Quantity of Money - 1969). In your previous post you characterized deflation, such as what one would expect from implementing a Friedman Rule, as "altogether obvious and right."

How ironic that you might be a Monetarist after all.
