We'll see.

Her school, like a lot of small mid-western schools that are at the fringe of a big city is so small and its population so economically diverse that the standards and the amount of knowledge imparted aren't particularly high. She's fighting the boredom by taking her foreign language elective as a self-study German class offered by a local college and when she's done with that (one more semester), she'll start taking some college-credit courses.

She recently learned that though she'll have enough credits to graduate at the end of her Junior year, this school has a policy that you can't be Valedictorian (or even attend Prom) if you're not a full-time student your senior year.
