Jim, IMHO, you have to be right about cycles perpetuating, but that does not necessarily means that the min and max of the future cycles will occur at the same levels as in the past (if only for inflation, but there are obviously more reasons).
Given the fundamentals, the cycles are more likely to be superimposed on a global trend that is moving up. The points you make ignore this perspective.
This being said, your theory may serve you well enough, making enough money by adhering to it, but that doesn't make you 100% right.
You may even claim victory when the next down cycle occurs, ignoring the fact that it happened from a higher level.
