Since you are a railfan, guess you are aware Union Pacific bought Southern Pacific. The new resulting railroad will have Union Pacific's first name and Southern Pacific's last name.

UP has already made some noise about an idea to dredge from Yuma, via the Colorado River, into Mexico for the purpose of making a short route for container traffic.
