But you need to really stretch. As another poster suggested, all China needs to do is to let its currency float up. Market rate, most experts agree, would wind up 20-25% above current level and price of oil in China would be correspondingly reduced.

Of course, this would help US exports and trade deficit. But that's not "big" enough reason for the type of grand conspiracy theory that you are suggesting.
