I remember when the first PC salesman hit my office and promised we'd all make so much more money and have so much free time. About 20 years later, still waiting for that free stuff and the money may be more plentiful but it's harder to earn and keep. And now they're saying that old records aren't retrievable because the program is obsolete!!!

It hasn't made us richer. It's made us perfectionist types more anal and, as you suggest, better at running around in circles.

I remember when I would send out a letter with a little typo in it. Now, it's so easy to correct that I do more work correcting it. LOL. But the letter is perfect, at least as far as my spell and grammar correction program says it is. <ggg>
