Can you imagine what kind of legal wrangling we would have if every similar case were similarly litigated and publicized.

The number of unfortunate souls (with their perhaps even more unfortunate families) who are trapped in a nightmarish existence is just mind boggling.

Bed ridden, twisted unable to move their contracted joints like so many stiff pretzels , rotten flesh from the inevitable bed sores, diapers, feeding tubes, catheters, the only sensation they can feel is pain-if they feel anything at all.

I see it all the time-it is a national disgrace that we keep so many totally hopeless cases alive-for what? They have no existence no life just pain. They are prisoners of a sadistic and crazy society.

Shame on George Bush for having put the Democrats on the right side of the issue.

Appointing lawyers and guardians is the worst thing to do; lawyers and guardians just want to keep their stipends going-it's easy work. Who cares about the poor victim-the "patient".

Death means the end of of suffering. Death is natural. Everyone has a day to die.

Death is the brother of sleep. Death is a friend.
