Those were from the US Federal Census from each mentioned state...I can get Heritage Quest from our County Library here at the house...They also have Ancestry, which they pay for, but I have to go to the Library to use it. Have to watch Ancestry...there is a lot of wrong info there...I use it for clues.

Doing the Census for each 10 years as far back as you can is the first thing to do, after putting everyone in each family down on a group sheet...Pretty soon, you will begin to see patterns and see how the people fit into each group...

Makes history come alive....Now with Internet, you can take a day in one of your relatives lives, and see what else was going on in the world on the day they were married, or were born, etc....
