Anecdotal stuff: Gassing up Sunday at a local lower class suburban VLO station. VERY busy little place at 2:30 p.m.- almost a wait; I was surprised. People driving mostly old "transportation" vehicles. Lot's of people going into/out of the VLO store. Dawned on me maybe they must be paying cash - maybe they don't have credit/debit cards to use on the pumps. Maybe they aren't even getting more than a few $ in gas - not filling up. But they're there buying and they're there in force (during those few minutes I was there anyway). I take it as a positive sign for VLO. Holding all my shares.
