I would suggest law making by poll is mob rule.

I agree with that point, but I don't see what that has to do with the matter at hand. That's certainly not what happened here. Congress in this case pursued a matter that the public, according to the polls, does not support.

I found a couple of things in the poll interesting. One is that there seems to be only a small number of people demonizing those on the other side of this issue. Most people are sympathetic to both sides. The other is the small number of people who think Terri has a snowball's chance in hell for recovery. From reading the chatter here, you'd think that there are many more.
