Perhaps what you and I are discussing should be clarified into the following question: Was the force we deployed large enough to get the job done? If the "job" was to destroy the government of Iraq and its conventional military then the answer is clearly "yes". If the job was to follow through and establish civil order and to create a stable environment where we would police Iraq long enough to allow a peaceful transition to a new government, then the answer is clearly no.
