You just cannot even imagine the cases, we see in Emergency Rooms that we are forced to keep alive. Actually alive is not really the appropriate word. The vast majority of us in the medical field (at least those that actually treat patients) want no part of this torture for ourselves. When my day comes just give me some morphine and let me die in peace. That is when my doctor (and definitely not my lawyer or some judge), thinks it's appropriate.
