Some are, Sugarland was purely working class until fairly recently. It was where Imperial Sugar did most of their refining. But they don't do that there anymore. There are a lot of born-agains in the area, and they usually don't vote for anyone who doesn't make a big show of praying and how Jesus guides their life. Now that is usually and not always, that particular card can be over-played.
