No, of course I don't hate farmers. I hate environmental degradation. Everything I read points to the same conclusion--GM crops and conventional agriculture both do enormous damage to the earth, and organic farming and sustainable, local agricultural practices will enrich the soil, provide food and make it possible for family farms to make money. Do you hate family farmers? Do you realize that it was buying into the idea that they needed extremely advanced technology--equipment and pesticides in particular--that bankrupted family farmers in America? All brought to you by Monsanto and companies like it.
