".......I mean, are they all Bubbas?" Some are, Sugarland was purely working class until fairly recently. It was where Imperial Sugar did most of their refining. But they don't do that there anymore. There are a lot of born-agains in the area, and they usually don't vote for anyone who doesn't make a big show of praying and how Jesus guides their life. Now that is usually and not always, that particular card can be over-played. I was wondering if Delay's ineffective histrionics over the Schiavo case would upset his constituents. Then I realized that to them its probably the thought that counts.......plus in their minds, Delay was doing God's work. Oh well..you get what you pay. ted
