Okay...I have to tell you what just happened to us, by us, I mean our neighborhood! Remember, I am head of the neighborhood watch...SO
The Pres. Of our neighborhood Association's wife called and said there were cars at the swim club and the lights were on. She lives close and her husband wasn't home... She tried but couldn't get an answer at the police dept...I told her to stay inside, I would call the police!
To back up a might, we had an 18 year old boy living in our ladies room at the swim club. He was actually stalking the girl next door, and old boyfriend, but also using drugs...So he is on a restraining order for our neighborhood...This happened a week ago...
Anyhow, I tried the number we had, no one answered so I called 911. The woman who answered asked where our swim club was...I told her, and she wanted to know the intersection...I told her there was no intersection, it was in the middle of the neighborhood...She was getting an attitude with me, so I developed a bigger attitude, and in a word, I stared her down.
She said the police were on the way...I went down and there were three cars parked there, and the door to the darkened tennis courts was ajar...I went and checked, but there wasn't anyone there. I looked at the license plates and saw most were from college..I decided the kids had parked at the swim club to make room for all the cars... (We've done it before)
Anyhow...a cute cop showed up...I almost asked if he was married, and I had a cute daughter, but that wasn't why I called...LOL
I explained that I'd checked the tennis courts and around the swim club and found nothing...I told him my theory about it being college kids home for Easter...so he left...I didn't even get his name for Missy!
