Slider, the US trade deficit will not decrease significantly if China revalues the Yuan. If Chinese labor becomes more expensive than Vietnamese or Indian labor, the factories will just move to Vietnam or India. In a world of "free trade," the US is done as a manufacturer, except of items with insignificant labor inputs, like chips. The only way the US will get those jobs back is if US labor costs become cheaper than those in China or India.
