I've already stated what I think should have been done. It's not what Bush did, it's not what Clinton did. It's what a lot of folks would have liked to see our government do.

Like many who want to protect the life of Terri Schiavo, I feel that strongly about protecting the innocents of Iraq. Sure Saddam was bad. But we impacted so many lives in Iraq and that is a travesty, which I believe could have been prevented.

I believe we should err on the side of life.

It's been shown clearly that Saddam was not an immediate threat to the US. We should have kept the pressure on...gathered our allies. We didn't do that...and that was a mistake.

But telling you this...is like yelling down an empty well.

So I hope you're happy with the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent civilians on your conscience. The case for war was not clear. We had time on our side.
