I am visiting my in laws now in the tucson area. they just moved here recently. although I think the desert environment is facinating, I am surprised at the cost of living in the desert. My in-laws mentioned a new development going up near some world famous spa where lots are going to be sold for $300M a piece. This seems pretty absurd to me.
