The Moller SkyCar is do-able, and I'd sure buy one if they got it FAA certified. There are also some real good aircraft safety parachutes available now for planes as big as a Cessna 172. If you installed one on an M-400 you'd be good to go - no matter what happened. sti.nasa.gov With some of the new microturbines now available by Elliot and Capstone, like the ones powering small (35kW+) generators the M-400 or something like it is coming closer and closer to being a reality. techreview.com John :-) .
