Advanced Gaming Technology Inc. Announces Max Bingo Systems Installations Show Solid Growth
DENVER, CO., Sept. 4 /CNW-PRN/ - Advanced Gaming Technology, Inc. (NASDAQ:BB - news) announced today that installations of its MAX Bingo Systems continues to show solid growth.
As the Company enters the fourth quarter, Advanced Gaming expects to have 900 MAXLITE and 770 MAXPLUS/TurboMAX units installed, bringing its installed base of MAX Bingo Systems to 1,670 units in the U.S. versus 1,070 units for the prior reporting period on June 11, 1997. These installations are expected to generate monthly revenues going into November 1997, of approximately US $250,000 compared to revenues of US $145,000 as reported in the June Press Release. These revenues only include firm orders now being installed and existing units in the marketplace. As a result, AGT is well on its way to generating an operating profit.
In addition, the Company has orders pending for installation of MAX Bingo Systems in jurisdictions outside of the United States.
The rate of orders for MAX Bingo Systems continues to accelerate and the Company expects further orders as a result of a very successful showing by the Company at the National Indian Gaming Association Trade Show which was recently held in Minneapolis. According to Rob Silzer, Jr. Executive Vice President, ``We have seen growing interest in our products, and it is also worthy of note that approximately 35% of our new orders have been coming from existing customers who are ordering additional units to meet player demand of the MAX bingo Systems.''
To facilitate the distribution and servicing of the MAX Bingo Systems, on August 11, 1997, the Company relocated its Operations, Sales/Marketing and Research and Development to a larger and more strategically situated 20,000 square foot facility located in Denver, Colorado.
