Michael,
I always ignore the "tone." I always laugh when people say, "I didn't like your tone," (my mother used to say that quite a bit, she could get away with it). There's something very prissy about complaining about someone's tone. Too metro for this guy.
To me, this is a vast supermarket, ideas are for free. Posters who want to dictate how others deliver their messages are bound for unhappiness. I prefer happiness, how about you?
The group of energy bulls has grown so large now that no doubt quite a few of them won't be quite smart enough to sell and protect their profits. But I'm only worried about your profits, Commander!
Anyway, let's get off tone and onto substance. Energy, as John said, is ripe for a pullback, but "pullback" implies that it is only a temporary lull on a continuing journey. Every astute speculator has to ask himself, what if it's more than a pullback? Do I want to be trying to get out on further downside with my emotions ensnarled in my positions, or do I want to be out and really neutral on my market take? This has given signals that it is bigger than a minor pullback; will it simply be an intermediate pullback, or something more?

Btw, The Contender is a great tv show, really the best, and last night's world poker tour match with Surinder vs. Tony G--there was a lot of speculation knowledge there, imho. |
