Detonations. Liquid rock. Violent discharges splinter off in frenzied disorder.
Eternity...
Life. Abnormal, undreamt of, chaos-bred happenstance. One solitary protein cell raises its head up from all else. It has a dream...
It dreams of life. Consciousness, self-awareness, responsive, sentient existence. Intentional, pre-meditated plans form.
Survival.
Must keep life at all costs. Must remain alive. That is all. Nothing else matters.
Struggle, grow, endure.
Evolve.
Upward. Develop. Mature.

Progress in complexity. Increase in intelligence. New ways of survival. Unprecedented manifestations of intricate features.
