I agree. His diatribe on the Schiavo situation the other day, vehemently insisting (apparently based only on the 2001 video) that Schiavo "is alive", was a disgusting display of arrogance, political opportunism and disregard for the law. People are coming into this some 14 years into her vegetative state, years after the Florida legal system (with input from God knows how many medical professionals) did its job of looking out for her rights, and years after all legal maneuvering should have ceased. They are insisting that they "know" she is alive based on a freakin' video from four years ago and they are demanding we dismiss the years of medical and legal inquiry, dismiss the consistent judgements of the legal system, and impose (or more precisely, allow them to impose) their "informed" judgement instead. By decree, I suppose. All to make a political statement about "the sanctity of life" (iow, against abortion). Who the F does Tom DeLay think he is? I say boot the arrogant, dictatorial ass. And do it WITHOUT DELAY, before he destroys our party.

JMO, of course.
