The "Senate memogate" story has been all over the web, Karen. The only reason it wasn't bigger is that the bloggers are going nuts over Schiavo. Schiavo is just as big in blogdom as it is here.

The Senate memogate" won't go anywhere, we can't trace down the "who dun it." But it will put pressure on the Networks to be more careful.

The real problem with a story like this is that everybody at ABC is predisposed to believe it. They are all liberals. That is why it is so easy for the Dems to plant something like this. The network people don't have anybody on staff who would say, "wait a minute - let's check this out."
