Question for plant people. I was just watering a house plant and saw one of those plastic sticks that tells the name of the plant (Schlumbergera) growing tips, etc. On the back of this stick it says

"Propagation Prohibited"

Never seen this before. Prohibited by whom? What happens if I do (assuming I knew how ). Did I agree to a contract when my wife bought the plant? Also it says Grown in Canada. Some Canadian deal?
