Is no one overseas buying cheap American goods?

This entire argument of a cheap dollar being better for business in the USA is folly I think. Bob Rubin has it right, with the strong dollar policy. We buy more than we sell, period. With a strong dollar we get more for our money.

With all this globalization, I see US companies as providing a sortof "management layer" on top of all the nuts and bolts built overseas. That is the typical US company anyway, at this point. The internal workings, cost of doing business etc. for most US companies is affected with this dollar crash. The argument that consumers in asia will buy more US products only means they are buying BACK something they produced in the first place.
