But we don't have any written directives. How can we stop feeding a person in this condition without a written and signed document? I don't think we can. Who is more the guardian now that her husband has moved on? This is a tough case and I think the wrong decision has been made by the wrong people. Imagine taking your cat into the vet and having them seize control and make the decision as to when to put the cat to sleep....I'd be pissed! I'm not just posting to play devils advocate either...I think this is a mistake
