yuba city california. i think 5 or 6 years ago was voted worst city to live by somebody like money magazine or something. A RE banker today told me that (as of today) only 6 properties in yuba city were for sale below 300K. I was like. damn!. It's crazy because salaries are like 8 bucks an hour. and more than half of the population commute 50 miles to Sacramento or Roseville. (with gas at 2.45 a gallon) To top it off Median Home price rose 44 percent last year. Crazy.
