| Look, while I personally think this method of euthanasia is GRUESOME and if to be done, OUGHT to be done in a more humane manner, if not for the victim (presuming she IS vegatative and has no idea whats going on) then for the people surrounding her, not only her parents, her husband, but the care givers. My wife used to work in a Cancer ward and almost EVERY NIGHT she came home in TEARS. No one wanted to work in that ward so the Hospital, for a time FORCED nurses to take a TOUR OF DUTY or get fired. I can tell you, suffering like Terri is going through EVEN if she doesnt know it is VERY hard on the care givers. Now, in Terri's case, the evidence that THIS IS WHAT SHE WANTED is very slim in my view. All I am asking for was a review of the facts IN THE OPEN and if this is what she wanted, hell just give her an overdose of Morphine, there is no need for THIS. jdn |
