Iran's 7 million man strong armed revolutionary militia of young volounteers. Apart from the Revoultionary Guards called "Pasdaran", Iran also has a 7 million (!) man strong volountary revolutionary militia called the "Basij" which was founded during the Iran-Iraq war. The regular Iranian armed forces number a total of 800,000 man, including some 200,000 conscripts worldisround.com I'm going to enjoy the fight :-)
