Bob Simpson-CEO of XTO is named & written up as one of the top most respected CEO's from around the world in todays 3/28 Barrons. Page 28 " brings shrewd judgement to the oil patch" - the warren buffett of oil & gas. " XTO is one of the best companies that no one has ever heard of" Adam Seessel Ny investment firm.. since 1993 going public XTO posted 29% comp. annual return!!!!!

PS :Oil(gas) companies around here are buying up all the roadbase and gravel to build their roads and well pads.
While working to fix my driveway, their repairman could not find any of the proper screened rock and even cheap rocks cost him an outrageous $145 for one truck load.
Wish you could see all the gas wells and pipelines being installed here. Last week they buried the 24 inch mainline 25 feet outside my back fence which will carry the gas as far as the East Coast to keep your schools supplied.
There are at least 6 new gas wells within a mile, and now they will have to install more pipe to feed the main. I think XTO will have 19 rigs working steady for 2 years to complete 240 planned wells. Each of those should produce about $6000 per day in gas so they are pouring money into this work, in some cases working 7 days per week. The well drillers never stop, its 24/7 for them.
