I have 6 cheap, fairly old TVs in the house; can't afford HDTV. Many of my peers are the same; lower middle class, kids want a TV in their room, TV in kitchen, living room, den, bsmt. Would I like to have all the bells and whistles? Sure, but it is not going to happen. We use the Humax DVD w/Tivo to copy movies to DVD and watch on another TV. Is it a hassle? Perhaps, but most people have to give up features to be in the game. Tivo gives everyone a chance to play. It's too easy.
