Trickplay is a TiVo patent. I'm aware of that, and I'm sure that M$ is watching the Echostar case very closely. If TiVo prevails in the Echostar case, the ompetitive landscape changes greatly. I would be very surprised however, if TiVo isn't forced to license the "technology" in a fair and nondiscriminary manner.
