If she was poor and black, she would have been dead by now.

It turns out [let's say coincidently] that's exactly what happened earlier this month in Texas. There was a black infant who's mother couldn't afford the care and the hospital unplugged the child over the objections of the mother. It was going to come out of Medicaid; can't have the taxpayers pay for keeping one little black kid alive.
