As for the 30 cent estimate vs. 36 cents a year ago, take a look at the revenue estimates here.

Revenues are estimated to have increased by 18% but earnings dropping by six cents from the year ago period. The great Sandisk debate is thus focused. As ASPs drop, can they protect those margins sufficiently and/or grow sales enough to keep the earnings/share growth in place?

Last year's March quarter was estimated to also come in at 30 cents, and Sandisk beat by two cents. If revenues this quarter beat estimates by more than the 18% estimate.....maybe 22-25%, retail pricing declined less than the 15% forecast in the last cc, margins improve from movement on wafer size.......well, we'll just have to wait and see.
