well, if you wanted to pick the country in the world where bird flu is least likely to escape from, it's probably North Korea.

but a pandemic there could improve the food shortage and perhaps make better living conditions for the survivors. it's so bad there that people have taken to digging up fresh corpses to eat. they have now illegalized funerals during the daytime, when it's easier for hungry scavengers to spot fresh graves.
