I think it is pretty obvious that there are religious folks on both sides of this. After all 70 something percent of the folks in polls disapprove of the way this affair has been handled by Bush- and since 95 % of the country is religious, we have to assume that 95% of the 70 % who disapprove are also religious. Thus it is NOT a religious secular divide. It may be a dogmatic divide between the religious, and I'm not going there, since I'm not really interested, but I do think it is important to stop people from mischaracterizing something so obviously incorrect as labeling the divide secular/religious when it quite demonstrably, by polling data, is not.
