China to invest 100 bln Yuan for rural road construction 2005-03-28 09:35 BEIJING, Mar. 27 -- China has decided to invest 100 billion yuan or about 12 billion US dollars for the construction of rural roads in the next few years. The National Development and Reform Commission says the project will connect villages and towns in eastern, western and central China with asphalt highways by 2010.
