Here you've spoken as though I said "2 decades" ago. I did not. Why twist my words like that? My mother was still in her 40's, I think, indeed perhaps in her thirties as I was her third child and born when she was thirty. It's a story I heard the day I posted it to you, much closer to when it happened, and in-between. It's never changed. I'm also quite confident the physician confirmed she got the conversation accurately though "out," as she's told the story in his AND my confirming presence, to boot.

Hey, no threat from me to you there, and I'll just say whenever someone writes off likely good information as you did in that exchange, without bothering to do their own checking, I believe they should have shut-up instead (for their own good...it's just prudent).

I understand your playground analogy, but as you can see if you look back I not only did not TELL you to shut-up in a general way and would not do so, I think it's appropriate for me to merely advise you to shut-up under the specific circumstances I witnessed in your conversations with another, in which you hadn't checked into things. This is adult advice.
