Slacko, does Texas Instruments charge the 16% royalty for their GSM ASICs, or if not TI, who collects the GSM royalties? I thought TI was in the GSM Guild as an intellectual property contributor in the "all for one and one for all" deal. I suppose I should ask Google who collects 16% royalties and who pays that much.

I don't know who gave QUALCOMM the various GSM intellectual properties necessary for producing GSM ASICs, but I thought TI was one of the contributors and therefore I expect they are not paying royalties to the other GSM Guild members.
