We've traced those crank calls to the board room and they're coming from a phone listed to a Michael Capellas. That name mean anything?

Less than two months after sacking CEO Carly Fiorina, Hewlett-Packard is on the verge of naming her replacement. Word on the street is that HP will tap a new CEO very soon, perhaps as early as tomorrow. esp.realcities.com

Just who it will be is anyone's guess, although some say that high on the short list are NCR CEO Mark Hurd; Vyomesh Joshi, the head of HP's lucrative printing and imaging business; and Quantum CEO Rick Belluzzo. Noticably absent from that list: former HP president Michael Capellas, who sources say is out of the running now for good.
