The deal with Tellabs is great news, because it means their technology will be scaled up into larger installations. The placement is good and bad: it means more cash to be able to operate longer and grow in response to greater sales, but it also means dilution and a greater number of preferred vs. common shares. The preferred shares were offered at a 0.11 valuation of the common, which seems to be at the low trading end, not so bad if the same deal will be offered to the common share holders at the same rate.
