Exciting and puzzling day for KOSS. The exciting part was the strong volume at these price levels. Total volume was 59,200 shares. Last time we had volume in the 50k range was 4/23/97 - 4/25/97 each of those 3 days.

Volume was due to large blocks. One block of 20k shares was bought at 13 and sold at 13 1/8. Another block of 5k shares was bought at 12 7/8 and sold at 13. That's 50k of the 59.2k reported for the day.

If the buyer wasn't KOSS, it's a very bullish sign since another serious buyer has come to the table. But even if it's KOSS, it still indicates that they believe the stock is undervalued at 13 and change.

Here's the puzzle - I had a limit order for 1,000 shares at 12 7/8 that got partially hit at 3:56pm (just before the close). The strangest part is that I got 500 shares for 12 1/8, 3/4 of a point below my limit and just a little over the bid. I don't understand. Why would a mm sell me shares at 12 1/8 when I said that I'd pay 12 7/8?

Maybe they are nice guys after all. But this is the first time I've ever had a limit order filled with this favorable of a price. Maybe I'll wake up tomorrow and they'll take it away from me due to a "clerical mistake."

Does anyone have any ideas how something like this would happen? I'm very curious.
