Man is certainly not God-like. Poodles are more God-like than man.

I believe that everyone's dna existed in one form or another for an eternity. For instance, the components of your dna existed thousands of years ago, in one form or other. Unique circumstances over thousands of years put all components of your dna together making you.

I believe that, after one dies, as long as their dna is not totally destroyed, then there is a possibility, perhaps one in a zillion, that over another million years, the conditions might all come together for your "old" dna to be involved in the formation of another life form. That life form might be vastly different and vastly inferior to your current life form.
