Pam, at this point I think it would be unlikely for SNDK to refuse licensing to a competitor...

...as Toshiba and Samsung already have access to SanDisk's IP. I am not sure what the
purpose of not licensing would be, as I doubt that it would be a major obstacle for someone
who was hellbent on producing flash. Micron may be a good example. They may chose to just
manufacture flash and say that they have a license from another flash company and then force
SanDisk to launch a major legal battle to prove that their IP has been violated. It would
be easier and more profitable to simply amicably license to Micron.
