The truth is out now about the rightwing. Just look at Tom Delay. Heinously corrupt and arrogant, subverting democracy at every turn, trying to savage his butt from an eventual prison cell by dragghing congress and the White House into the private bedrooms of the Schiavo family, and failing to reveal he not only unplugged his own father very quickly after a brain injury, but that he then used a trial lawyer to sue for damages. Also, GW Bush signed into Texas law the very same type law that gives the husband the say-so in these matters. So much for the sanctity of marriage as the rightwing refuses to let a brain-dead woman die in peace, but rather tries to lynch her long-suffering and loving husband who is only doing his wife's wishes, and what any of us would do in his place. In fact, my family unplugged my father's feeding tube last summer and it was the right thing to do. Every family makes that choice and 99% of the time it is definitely the right thing to do. There is nothing wrong with dying. You'd think Christians who believe in heaven you understand that. But these are not real Christians, these are brainwashed cultists bordering on fascists who want to intrude into every aspect of our private lives and use the Feds to do their dirty work.
