I am not an expert in Christ, but, from what I've read, I think that Christ would have been in favor of liberating the people of Iraq, Afghanistan and the rest of the Middle East.
The impact of peaceful democracies in Iraq, Afghanistan will spread out over the entire region. When there are more democracies there are less chances for new Hitlers, or Maos, or Stalins, or Pol Pots, or Kim Jong Ils, or Ayatollah Ali Khameneis, to spring up and threaten world peace and mass murder.
President Bush saw the dangerous direction that the Middle East was heading, especially after 9/11/01, and took very responsible, necessary action. |
