She had a flat EEG, as well.

he has seen patients lose a great deal of their brain and still be taught to be functional.

She has lost more than a "good deal."

I mention this as it is not as cut and dried as you are saying based upon the public information.

Hopefully the autopsy will settle this, but maybe not. If people don't believe CAT scans and EEGs, maybe they won't believe the autopsy, either.
