Have you not seen all the doctors explaining that on TV? Have you not seen that picture of her CAT scan, which shows a big black hole where her brain should be? Anyone who hasn't seen those can't have been following the story and has no basis for arguing that it isn't so.

The argument then becomes....do we starve her and refuse hydration, which seems cruel and unusual to me, or do we end it quickly, as we do for so many who live on the edge?

I would opt for the latter, but that is unfortunately illegal. The only legal way to not prolong her life is to starve her because only passive measures are legal.
